X/API Pricing

How is it 2026, and we need to fork out ridiculous amounts of cash just to use the cnMaestro API? Even if we run on-premises, we still need to have X to use the API and integrate with our BSS/OSS for even the most basic device management.

For our use case, we don’t have any managed wifi devices, we don’t need the historical logging/metrics…just the API access.

I wouldn’t complain if this were a reasonable fee, but every time we’ve tried to quote this out, it’s been a five-digit yearly figure, which immediately deters us from proceeding further.

We’re at thousands of SM’s deployed and still have to manage them by hand for the most basic things, like keeping a name in sync or location updated.

Integrate directly with the SM using SNMP, or integrate with the AP via SNMP and pull data for connected SMs.

+1 for api access at a lower cost for management purposes, even if its just able to do what my current subscription level is allowed to do thats fine, it shouldnt take a weird workaround to make it work without api. I would be willing to even go so far as to get a local vm connection to concentrate api calls and speed limit them to some extent if it meant we had api access.
