I have a second hand Xirrus XD2-240 (Firmware 8.7) with a default licence which it came with. When I connected it to a 1Gb port o a router the connection is limited to 100mb. Do I need to get a new licence to unlock the speed restriction.
The license (or lack of) does not impact the negotiated Ethernet speed. Have you tried with a different cable? Do other devices on the same router port get 1000Mbps?
Thankyou for the reply. I tried a laptop and that connected at 1Gb using the same short cable.
