XV2-21X making audible noise?

Here is a first. Customer complains that the AP is making noise.

Technician walks into room and sure enough… “Sounds like a hard drive over maybe crumpling paper.” Check and make sure the unit is working in CNMaestro and everything seems normal.

Took the unit down and brought it to the rack to rule out wire issue. Unit was “pretty hot”. Connected at the rack and sure enough… sound is present.

Checked another unit onsite and it makes noise too.

Go to another site and notice the same sound.

Any ideas???

My XV2-21X makes a buzzing sound occasionally. It sounds a little like a fly stuck in a window sill and can only be heard when the room is very quiet. My unit is ceiling mounted. I will be interested to hear if it’s the same sound you are having.
