I am looking for help to configure XV2-23T to connect to nbn. It need WAN to configure dhcp. I have enabled vlan 1 and vlan10(DHCP). 10 issues local IP’s to devices and vlan 1 to get WAN IP from provider. but it doesnt work. When I connect XV2 to my router(which is connected to nbn) LAN port, it gets IP from router to eth port and issues dhcp pool IP’s to clients and working fine. When I connect my laptop with dhcp enabled to nbn box, laptop gets IP from provider. but my XV2 doesn’t get IP for some reason. can someone help whats wrong? thanks

It should be configuration mismatch. Let me schedule call with our team to address the issue.
Thank you.
What IP did it get from NBN box?
Its getting nothing from nbn box when I connect directly. But when I connect to zte router, it gets IP from router (192.168.20.x) and locally configured dhcp on xv2 issues IP’s (192.168.10.x) to clients connecting to xv2. I used the same config attached.
XV2-2T0 DHCP.txt (4.4 KB)
Please see the config I used. Thanks
I never tried turning on the DHCP server on the Cambium APs.
If you turn off the DHCP-server and just default the AP. Does it draw an IP address from the DHCP server?
IN the other manufacture I used to use… you couldn’t have the DHCP-Client andDHCP-Server active on the Same AP. It would warn you and make you pick one or the other.
I have used this config for every other places but not with nbn. I used to work with an ISP and this config worked fine. And, how it work with router in between? AP getting IP to its Eth port from router, and AP gives DHCP IP’s to clients connecting to the AP. Other thing is, if I disable the dhcp config/pool, what IP will the client get? As I mensioned before, now its connected to router LAN port and has 192.168.20.x IP on its Eth port and client(s) got an IP from the DHCP running in the AP. Thanks
Any inputs from anyone please?
