900 MHz Subscriber Polarity

This has been asked a couple of times (here and here), so I thought it should go in the Knowledge Base.

The PMP 450i 900 MHz system can compensate for connection in either polarity.  That is, for system operation, it doesn't matter which (Path A or Path B) is connected to +45 or -45 slant.  However, connecting it correctly (per the picture below) results in the software reporting the correct RSL per software port, which may help identify which connector or cable might be troublesome, if one path is significantly different RSL from the other. (Note that the AP polarities are obvious due to the radio ports are labeled).
