Advice Requested: Ideal Roaming Configuration for Stable Wi-Fi Performance

Hi everyone,

I need some guidance from the community regarding the best practices and real-world use cases for roaming configuration in Wi-Fi networks.

In cnMaestro, I can see several roaming-related features such as:

  • cnMaestro Managed Roaming

  • Fast Roaming Protocol

  • 802.11r

  • RRM (802.11k)

  • 802.11v

  • PMF (802.11w)

I would really appreciate your advice on which of these should be enabled to ensure smooth and seamless client handoff between access points. If you have any recommended combinations, deployment scenarios, or lessons learned from your own implementations, please share.
