Any good Dual/Multi band antennas out there ?

We started put up two sites using the  itelite  5ghz/2.4ghz sectors

We was going to save so much money on tower space and have so much more tower space !  Isn't really working out though, these antennas are just awful.

So we replaced one of the itelite sectors with one of the new KP Performance dual band sectors and it made a noticeable  improvement, especially for customers close to the edges.

Of course I wish they weren't almost $600.00 each but the biggest problem we have with them is the weight of these things.. they weigh more than our big  900Mhz MTI sectors.

So, anyone else making a decent dual band sector or omni out there ?

That's pretty much it brubble... if you were doing 2.4 and 3.65, you could use one of Alpha Antennas products... but if you're concerned about weight, size, then you should avoid these antennas. There's really no way to have a smaller antenna size/weight when working with 2.4GHz and also having a decent front to back ratio. Then you stuff a couple 5GHz elements into the enclosure and it's even bigger/heavier.

how does the signal quality of those KP compare to the cambium dual slant 2ghz panels?

we've been very happy with the stock sector antennas

Other than the cambium dual slant 2.4ghz not being dual band  they are on different towers and I don't have a way to compare them fairly right now (no customers that match both distance and azimuth). They seem to about the same so far on 2.4Ghz.  We also have some ePMP's on ubiquiti sectors and they perform OK also, no complaints really but again, they aren't dual band..
