E700 reset using power cycle?

My issue is,
Recently there was a lightning strike near the building.
At this point all the AP’s XE3-4 and 9 outdoor E700 were using DHCP. All them went offline, the site has excellent spike and UPS protection and no equipment malfunctioned because of this event.

I have reset the XE3-4 units and they recovered with no issues. However the E700’s are mounted in a very high ceiling workshop/warehouse and the site has no way to physically access them without renting a cherry picker.

In my search to resolve this I found some Cambium units can be reset using a series of power cycles. I was unable to confirm if the E700’s have this ability.
So my question is, do they and if so where can I find the doco on the procedure?

As for the reason why they all decided to fail, I suspect the lightening radiated some radio signal that scrambled them. As nothing else onsite has been affected. Just grabbing at straws here but it’s really an Ockham’s razor theory.

TIA

This isn’t an answer to your question, but I wonder if the reason they are offline is due to “power boot loop detection”, where the the devices will disable their radios if they lose power three times in a row.

Are you able to access them via a wired connection?

Unfortunately, the e700 cannot be factory reset using power cycle sequence. From the user guide https://support.cambiumnetworks.com/files/cnpilot-tech-ref/

But it may be worth trying to change the boot partition using this.

No, they are not getting a DHCP and not responding to their previous IP’s

No leases have been issued for them either and a ping sweep doesn’t pick them up.

Thank you for confirming, I will try booting to the previous partition. It might help, if not we will just have to climb up there and do it manually
