LINK planner crashing on win 11

Hi I am running link planner 5.6.5 on windows 11. The planner is constantly crashing once opened. it does not matter what I do, open an old project, create a new one its just crashes straight after oipening. Please advise

Unfortunately there seems to be a problem where Windows Defender or Bitdefender blocks LINKPlanner from running the embedded Internet Explorer view.

Syadnom has a solution - Link Planner google maps crash, resolution?.

Windows defender and bitdefender both block MSHTML activex execution. I would imagine this is a common block. Excluding just Linkplanner.exe doesn’t do it, have to exclude the entire linkplanner folder and then it loads.

Try that and see if it works for you.
