PTP820C Backdoor IP 192.0.2.1 can be pingged continuously but inaccessible on any web browsers

Hi rogerabs,

It sounds like you might need to contact our support team.

But first a couple things to try:

- Clear the broswer cache and try getting the GUI again at the 192.0.2.1 address

- SSH into the radio at 192.0.2.1.  If you can SSH to the radio, you can login with the admin user and default the radio with the command:  platform management set-to-default  and try accessing the GUI again after the radio resets

If neither of these work, please contact us at support.cambiumnetworks.com and we'll go through some more troubleshooting steps with you.

Thanks,
Steve

Ensure that your management IP address is set static according to the link below.  I have also seen it where the static IP should be set to 192.0.2.3 255.255.255.240, depending on the firmware version.

Is it possible that you have https turned on?

yonghaolin: https not an issue, after initiating the same test approach/procedures to the good ODU, I never encountered such strange technical problem.

Is there anybody from Cambium software developer who can provide an alternative solution to access the ODU management port, by converting it to serial connection and accessing it using CLI and not the GUI (http/s or web based platform)???

You can telnet to the radio and use command line too configure the radio. Please refer to user guide. All CLI are listed in the userguide

Thanks for the reply, after applying all technical views and rectifying procedures in this forum, it seemed the technical issue was one of a kind. Finally, the ODU has been sent for repair and waiting for its return.
