Release Notes provide further details, but the brief summary is that there is one feature and one problem corrected.
Feature: Device agent for cnMaestro
The big news is that PTP 670 can now be managed from the cnMaestroserver, supporting both cloud and on-premises versions. The PTP 670 User Guide explains how to configure PTP 670 for connection to the server, and shows how to check the status of the connection.
PTP 670 is supported in cnMaestro from version 2.1.0-r3.
Bug Fix: SNMP trap resolved address
We fixed a bug that results in an unhelpful error message when the ODU attempts to use DNS to resolve a FQDN for am SNMP trap, and fails because the DNS server is disabled.
In this post (and in the how-to video) it says that PTP 650/670 is supported in cnMaestro version 2.1.0-r3. If I'm not mistaken, the latest version of cnMaestro available to us is 1.6.3. Is this correct, or am I missing something?
That is correct. This is essentially making the PTP650/670 cnMaestro ready for when the server piece is available, which should be this quarter. Typically the on-premises version is released first and then the cloud to follow.
