Deprecating L2GRE Concentrator from cnMaestro on premises

From cnMaestro 3.0 on premises release, L2GRE concentrator support from cnMaestro will be deprecated and from 3.1 release feature will be removed. The customer can choose below possible options to migrate the existing deployment,

  1. Make use of L2TPv2 tunnel supported on cnPilot APs

Mikrotik routers support L2TPv2 tunnel to bridge L2 traffic from remote host

  2. Make use of L2GRE on Linux server machine

  3. Use L2GRE from 3rd party vendor products like Wireless Access Gateway (WAG) from Benu Network (https://benunetworks.com/) and possible solution from Cisco ASR routers (Carrier Ethernet Configuration Guide - Layer 2 Ethernet over GRE [Cisco ASR 1000 Series Aggregation Services Routers] - Cisco)

Please refer attached document for option 1 and 2 mentioned above

Hi,

Is it possible to establish L2TPv2 tunnel on the same mikrotik which will serve AP management IP on VLAN 10 and WLAN clients on VLAN 20 and VLAN 30?

with best regards
